Garden Grove, CA Silicon General, Inc. 1978 Very Good No Jacket Abstract: This paper describes a new monolithic integrated circuit which contains all the functions necessary to monitor and control the output of a sophisticated power supply system. Together with data sheet November, 1978: SG 1543. In 1976 Silicon General introduced the industry's first PWM controller IC, the SG1524, which was designed by Bob Mammano, and is now recognized as a major technological breakthrough (see Power Electronics Magazine's 2005 article on the Top 30 Power Milestones and Products.)
