Title begins with the Greek, transliterated as, "Hemer- eniauto- genea- chorographias =" Engraved title page; illustrated; with 8 leaves, fully engraved, titled,Tabula Paschatum et Litterarum...; 15 b/w maps at end of book. The section titled "Summorum urbis orbisque pontificium" is illustrated with coats-of-arms. Final leaf is f12 , closing with "DEUS Benedictus." Bound in a contemporary 3/4 leather with heavily decorated spine and red mor. label over marbled boards; front cover detatched; decorative red and green endpapers; paper has browned some, with foxing; a child has scribbled in pencil over a few plates and pages of text. Bucelin was a universal scholar and a very prolific writer, being the author of some fifty-three works on genealogy, world history, hagiography and church history.
